At Singh Tutt Notary Public, we serve the Indian Community at a national and local level.  We can assist you in drafting and notarising a Change of Signature Affidavit.  A Change of Signature Affidavit can be drafted and notarised to meet Indian Government/High Commission/Consulate requirements.  We shall endeavour to deal with your matter as efficiently as possible and we are more than aware that you will often be under time constraints and may need to get your papers notarised as a matter of urgency.

We have listed below the most common scenarios for your ready information.  This list is not exhaustive.

It may be the case that........

  • Unintentionally, your signature on your recent Indian passport application to replace or renew

your Indian passport is different to the signature in your previous Indian passport, thus your signature has changed

  • You have chosen to change your signature intentionally.

  • You may have been a young person when your applied a signature on your Indian passport and         now as an adult you now have a signature which you frequently and commonly use.

  • You were unable to write and apply a signature in your previous Indian passport and you applied a thumb impression.  Now you wish to sign your signature in your Indian passport application as you are now able to write.

  • You were able to sign your signature in your last Indian passport, however, due to certain reasons you are now unable to sign your signature in your Indian passport application,  and for all intents and purposes, you wish to use your thumb impression as your signature.

We can also notarise a Change of Signature Affidavit already made, however, we must make sure sure that the document is fit for purpose and notarisation.  In our experience, we find that common amendments are making sure details such as names, addresses, descriptions, layout, grammar and formatting are correct.  You can also email your prepared Change of Signature Affidavit for us to view at info@singhtuttnotarypublic.com.  Click here for full contact details.
